We decided to use natural dyes in our products for various reasons:
Passion
Our passion for natural dyeing is one of them. We really love dyeing fabrics with plants, sharing our love for this art, and being able to portray this love and passion through all our creations.
Connection
Feeling the connection with raw materials is something we can rarely experience in this modern world.
This connection is very important for us ! Knowing where the materials we are using come from, and seeing all the process from the plant to the color on the cloth. Those are the things we enjoy the most!
Alchemy
Alchemy is part of the dyeing process, specially for indigo dyeing. And continuing these ancient techniques from all around the world is important for us.
Ecology
Dyeing with natural dyes can be more ecological than synthetic dyes. We use organic indigo vats, and we are always looking for new ways to make our dyeing more ecological.
But we also understand that as society, we need to change our consumption in order to make a difference.
